“Well, right now we are advising our clients to put all they can into canned food and shotguns.”
As with last week, and by necessity, this week’s horoscope is about larger things than simply this week and the current state of your love life. This week we are all sandwiched between two very difficult aspects, one potential trigger, and one little faint light of hope.
The week begins with Mars conjunct Saturn. This colors the entire week with potential for conflict, short tempers, and bad use of force. Within the context of this Love Horoscope, it’s not exactly a prize-winner as far as your sex drive goes, either. Maybe that’s understandable. It’s not like there’s a lot of speed-dating going on out there now anyway.
The other warning sign this week isn’t actually exact until next week, but it too will be a major influence. After Mars moves off of the conjunction to Saturn, it will be moving into range of the square to Uranus. Mars square Uranus can be a prime trigger for sudden outbursts and erratic behavior.
Parked in the middle of this are two wild cards. First of all, on Saturday night, Jupiter conjunct Pluto is exact. This too will influence the entire week. This could be a time to expand your horizons and bravely face the things that frighten you. It also brings with it the potential to turn an issue that is merely “significant” in your life into a “Chernobyl.”
For those of you who know me, or have been reading my work for long, you will know that I am far from a fearmonger. That’s why I want to end this forecast on a note of genuine hope. On Saturday, Venus trine Saturn is exact. In the shadow of all the previously mentioned transits, that probably sounds like no big deal. But it is, and let me explain.
No matter what your birth chart is like, and no matter what transits you may be facing, and no matter what shape the world is in, you always have some choice as to how you deal with it. Venus trine Saturn is an excellent aspect for strengthening your affections and making your love life a better place, and for improving your relation with others. I’m going to urge you all to do that, deliberately, as much as possible.
There is a war going on for the sanity of all the world, in light of COVID-19. We can win this, and we can win it together, even if we are all in isolation. I’m asking you to volunteer your service, and bring all the bullets of love and compassion you can with you, for everyone. Yes, even for the people who annoy you. We can do this!
